Barcelona

Sergio the promoter and Turlough are drinking whiskey and playing playstation soccer. I can see this going on till the wee hours and blood and whiskey flowing freely. I am scared to fall asleep in case they set the cato peligroso on me. Had hilarious day driving down tiny barcelona streets in peak hour. Today i killed a cyclist and iceream man and two police men. I have improved on my Spanish slang considerably. I can barely order a cup of coffee but i can tell anyone to go fuck themselves in the most painfull manner. Tomorrow i will try and learn some more real sSpanish and some Catalan. THis is one of my favourtie cities in the world.Really looking forward to the show tomorrow, there are posters everywhwere and the venuue looks great. Ok they are wrestling naked on the floor now over a disputed goal...i´m out of here. i hope santa claus brings you all something nice for valentines day.

This was an animation i wrote and produced in 2003 under the Lasair scheme for TG4 and Filmbase Ireland. The voice is by Rónán Ó'Snodaigh from Kila.

Here is an animation I did for Laura Thomas & Damien Quinn in 2003for a song called Fir a Bhata from their album The Lark on QT records. It was Funded by Foras na Gaeilge (Irish Language Board). The song is in Scottish Gaelic.

Freezing

If any of you are in a warm climate near water please have a swim for me now...
Have been banging me head against a wall on a song that has been changing over the last 3 years. I'm almost there. Looks like i might be putting together a band for some of the festivals in Europe this year. Working with Mary B on my wish list for musicians.
Shows are starting to come in for the rest of the year and for 2008. Have been painting. The next album will have extensive artwork. Working on some prints too...maybe i'll take some along on tour.

Spain

Hola,
I will be trying out my awful Spanish in a few weeks. I am really looking forward to playing and meeting everyone who has been emailing. Turlough Gunawardhana will be joining me on cello. It wil be like a 24-7 re-run of Bill and Ted's excellent adventure. This time i hope he doesn't laugh when I get stopped by the airport cops. Rubber gloves Turlough...keep that in mind. THe dates are coming together as i type and should be finalised in the next few days. Big thanks to Sergio and all his friends and stereodiet crew for helping book the shows.

5am

Just spoke to a really good friend of mine from the States whom i hadn't spoke with in ages. Hence i am awake at 5am...somethings become really clear when you wake up unexpectedly. I am now sure that i am not going to have any drums on the next record. Then again I am also quite sure right now that i want to eat avocado and peanut butter together...maybe i'm pregnant.
Hope everyone is doing good...fuck i'm out of peanut butter.
