Yeah it barely made the news here in the states as well. What can you expect from a country where eighteen percent believe the sun revolves around the earth and more people vote for American idol than for the president. Makes me ashamed to live in a country where the apathy toward the suffering of others is worn like a badge of honor. But hey, at least I have a bigger car/boat/house than my neighbor, me 1 humanity 0, I win.
